Hi, my name is Sha’an :-)
I am an illustrator, visual artist and published children’s author who has a passion for creating vibrant and joyful pieces that embody a childlike way of looking at the world. For this reason, I especially love working on projects that include children as an audience, and really anyone who has a nostalgia for the playful and appreciate the charm of traditional illustration.
Although I love painting for myself in my studio - it is so exciting to be able to work with clients (including Adobe, Samsung, Squarespace, Coca-Cola, Depop, Skillshare, The Sims, Levi’s, Prime Video and Audible) on an illustration, creative direction and content creation basis.
My dream as a child was to “write and draw my own books” and I had the pleasure of doing so first with ZOOM (2016) and then with Bandits (2020), both published by Hachette Australia.
You may also know me as ‘furrylittlepeach’ which is a moniker I’ve shared my work under since I started painting and sharing my work online in 2010. I consider the documentation of my process a part of my practice and it has been a pleasure to be able to share my journey as it happens on Instagram (through photo and video) and on Youtube (with my regular studio vlogs).
